**This will be a really scatterbrained first post.

-I'm taking a 2D animation class for my Major, and its just to give students an introduction to 2D animation, me and another student have been working on a group animation for sometime now.

-I'm fairly new to flash, but really like how this animation is turning out. This is my first "Actual" animation. I put it in quotations because Ive done it before, but really really horribly back in Highschool. This animation process has been awesome and I want to start doing some smaller scale animations on the side, just a soft of practice to get better at it.

-I did all the drawing (and will end up doing the color fills) for the animation and also the Intro and credits.

-Basically the story to the animation's plot is that Kermit the Frog has been mysteriously kidnapped, and its up to Superhero Vigilante "Punchman" (a man born with super human strength and boxing gloves for hands) to find Kermit and save the day.

I came up with that. The story only gets stranger as it goes along :D

-Ive actually had quite a few problems while making this animation. First there was the audio. It wouldn't sync, at all ,it was 1 or 2 seconds off. Fixed that by changing the compression settings of the streaming audio and also by putting some Actionscript stuff in front of certain scenes to basically restart the audio and get it back on track.

The second problem was all of a sudden the .fla got the error "flash cannot parse this document". I tried using Notepad++ to find the <frame/> code that supposedly caused this. no luck. The strange part was that my group members could open the document, it was only me that couldn't. After trying a few other things my friend uploaded a partially color filled version of the .fla and is magically worked. No idea what happened there.

Anyways. Sending the .swf off to my teacher to get his opinions on it, that way we have a week or so to polish the animation, re-draw and color, so my group can produce, hopefully, a decent first Flash animation. I'm sure we will.
